Tampa Chair

A dining chair can look beautiful from across the room. The real test begins when dinner runs long.

The Tampa Side Chair brings together a clean, contemporary profile and the comfort of a fully upholstered seat and back. Its slim solid wood frame and gently tapered legs give the chair an elegant, almost weightless appearance, while the upholstered back softens the design and makes it particularly inviting around the dining table.

Shown in Brown Maple with Revolution® Performance Fabric, the Tampa is a good example of what happens when practical choices don’t look particularly practical. Revolution® fabrics are available in a wide selection of colours, textures, and patterns, making it easier to choose upholstery that works with both your furniture and the way you live.

The back deserves a second look too. Rather than hiding the construction beneath upholstery, the solid wood frame remains visible, creating a beautifully finished view from behind. That’s important around a dining table, where the backs of the chairs are often what you see first.

With its understated lines and comfortable upholstery, the Tampa works especially well in contemporary and transitional dining rooms. Pair it with a substantial solid wood table for contrast, or keep the whole room light and streamlined.

Choose your wood and stain from our finishing options, and explore Revolution® Performance Fabrics from Heartland Fabrics to find the upholstery that works for your home.

Because the best dining chairs aren’t just ready for dinner. They’re ready for the second cup of coffee, the story you’ve already heard twice, and nobody being quite ready to leave.
