Seymour chair

Shown in Sappy Cherry
The Seymour Chair has clearly decided that dining chairs are allowed to have a little personality. With its sweeping curved back, sculpted wood seat, slender legs, and unmistakable mid-century lines, Seymour looks good from every angle, which is handy because half the time you’re looking at the back of a dining chair anyway.
Available to order in Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Elm, and Quarter Sawn Oak.
Meet Seymour. He’s got curves, good posture, and absolutely no interest in being the boring chair at the table.
The Seymour Chair brings a distinctly Mid-Century Modern personality to solid wood dining. Its broad, curved backrest creates the signature look, while the sculpted wood seat and slender legs keep the chair feeling light and beautifully proportioned.
And don’t overlook the back. Those gently shaped rear legs travel upward to frame the curved backrest, giving Seymour a silhouette that’s every bit as interesting leaving the table as it is coming toward it. Around a dining table, where chair backs are on display most of the time, that’s a detail worth getting right.
Shown in Sappy Cherry, the natural variations in the wood add another layer of character to the clean design. We currently have four Seymour Side Chairs in stock, ready to become a rather handsome little set around someone’s table.
If four isn’t your number, Seymour can also be ordered in Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Elm, and Quarter Sawn Oak. Explore our finishing options to choose a wood and finish that suits your room.
Mid-century design has always understood that practical furniture doesn’t have to look terribly practical.
Seymour understands the assignment.
