Evergreen Side Chair

The Evergreen Side Chair celebrates one of the things we love most about solid wood furniture: no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Handcrafted by Mennonite furniture builders, the Evergreen features a distinctive live-edge inspired back that lets the natural character of the wood become part of the design. Rather than hiding the variations that make real wood interesting, this chair puts them front and centre. The result feels a little rustic, a little refined, and entirely at home around a table made for gathering.
Shown in Wormy Maple with FC-47823 Bel Air stain and a seat upholstered in 16-81 Linen fabric, the Evergreen measures 18″W x 23″D x 41.5″H overall. The seating area measures 18.25″W x 16.5″D with an 18.75″ seat height, while the sculptural back rises 24.5″ above the seat.
Choose from Oak, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Walnut, or Wormy Maple, then select the stain colour that brings out the character you love most in the wood. Explore our finishing options to see the available stain colours.
For the upholstered seat, choose from a wide selection available through Heartland Fabrics, including solid fabrics, faux leathers, premium fabrics, leather, and Customer’s Own Material.
The Evergreen is available exclusively as a side chair, and that suits its distinctive design rather well. Built from solid wood for everyday use, it’s a chair with enough personality to get noticed and the craftsmanship to remain around the table for years to come.
Nature did the hard part. The craftsmen simply knew what to do with it.
