Chancellor Single Pedestal table

Chancellor sounds rather distinguished, doesn’t it?

Fortunately, the Chancellor Single Pedestal Table is much more interested in bringing people together than standing on ceremony.

Its classic round top and substantial single pedestal base create a welcoming place to gather. The design is traditional without feeling overly formal, making Chancellor equally comfortable in a family kitchen or a dining room reserved for special occasions.

One of its nicest details is the 1″ thick solid hardwood top, finished with a beautifully bevelled edge. It’s a subtle touch that gives the tabletop a lighter, more refined appearance while allowing the natural character of the wood to take centre stage.

Priced and shown in Brown Maple, Chancellor is described as measuring 42″ round × 30″ high. Its pedestal base comes as shown and includes levelers to help keep the table steady on uneven floors.

And while Chancellor is perfectly suited to smaller gatherings, it isn’t opposed to inviting a few more people.

The table can accommodate up to two optional extension leaves, sold separately. A solid-top configuration is also available, allowing you to choose the arrangement that best suits your dining space.

Handcrafted in North America by Amish furniture builders, Chancellor combines solid hardwood construction with traditional woodworking details.

Available wood species include Oak, Cherry, Quarter Sawn White Oak, and Brown Maple. When ordered in Quarter Sawn White Oak, the tabletop is paired with a regular White Oak base, an important construction detail to consider when choosing your wood.

For a coordinated dining space, consider pairing Chancellor with the Brookfield Side Chair. Or choose a contrasting chair style to give the room a more collected, personal feel.

Chancellor brings a little dignity to the dining room, but thankfully doesn’t insist on formal introductions before dinner.
